Action alert

The state’s naturopathic professional association aspired to establish a licensing act and scope of practice for naturopaths in 2017. However, no legislation was introduced that year.

Scope of practice

Naturopaths are not registered or licensed in Nevada.

In 1987, Nevada stopped licensing naturopaths. They were regulated under the Board of Naturopathic Healing with the enactment of Assembly Bill 444. The board became defunct in 1987 with the enactment of Assembly Bill 438 and any naturopathic license issued by the board expired on July 1, 1987.
