The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians states that naturopaths in Texas plan to file licensing legislation in 2019.

The Texas Association of Naturopathic Doctors is currently raising funds for their legislative agenda. There is currently no active legislation.

Scope of practice

Naturopaths are not licensed or registered in Texas.

Texas physicians are regulated by the Texas Medical Board. Anyone may file a complaint against a naturopath practicing medicine without a license.
